Patio Heaters: All Your Questions and Queries Answered Part 3

In our final article in this series, we are looking at common and frequently asked questions by patio heater customers and prospective customers.  We hope that you have found this series of article informative and helpful but please come back to us if we can be of further assistance on any other matter.

Can patio heaters be left outside all the time?

This is not usually a problem during all months except winter.  Patio heaters, especially stainless steel patio heaters, are very durable and can withstand most of the elements, especially with a sturdy patio heater cover.  If your patio heater is made from stainless steel then your cover need only cover the top of the patio heater but for the less robust powder coated model, we advise a full length patio heater cover.

Is it serious if my patio heater is accidentally knocked over?

Clearly it is best to try not to knock the patio heater whilst in a drunken stupor (it can happen to anyone) but it is not life threatening to either you or your new patio heater.  Most patio heaters nowadays are fitted with ‘belt and braces’ triple safety devices which shuts the fuel supply off when tilted to a certain angle.  If you break any of the parts or accessories on the patio heater, most patio heater suppliers have spare parts which you can purchase relatively cheaply.
